All animals -- even stuffed animals -- are welcome at the Blessing of the Animals at St. Thomas of Canterbury Episcopal Church on Oct. 1! 

Blessings will be done by our Priest in Charge, Reverend Carole Horton-Howe, at 10AM. Then stay for a Pet Fair including:

• Animal Rescues for learning, foster or adoption • Sale Ranch Farm Sanctuary • South Temecula Veterinary Clinic & Pet Hotel • Dr. Brittany and her goat, Jack from Temecula Creek Veterinary • Kids Art Contest • Kids Art Circle • Raffle • Photo Booth • How to Plant a Butterfly Garden • Live Music

A Blessing of Animals witnesses to God’s love, care and concern for creation. God created the animals – birds of the air, fish of the sea, and the many beloved creatures who walk or crawl on the earth – and God declared them all to be good. The glory of a horse running, the beauty of an eagle in flight, the majesty of a dolphin leaping all display the wonder of sacred life. Our desire is to bless the animals that are in our midst, those who are our very close companions, and to ask for God’s blessing on these friends and on the many animals who share this Earth with us. The Temecula Valley Community is invited to join us with their beloved pets, farm animals and, for those allergic, stuffed animals.
